I had a shoot scheduled for Saturday afternoon and had a last minute cancellation, so I decided to use my own angels as models. I can't believe they cooperated! A photographers own children are the hardest to capture. They are just growing up too fast. I've also found my newest great location. I can't wait to go there again. It's perfect! I've already ordered 16x20 of some of these for my home. I'll post a pic when I get them on the wall. I can't wait!
Here are a few of my most recent favorites. I've had such a blast these past few weeks. I hope you enjoy. Let me know which ones are your faves. Just click on comments and give me your feedback.
I am officially announcing another Limited Edition opportunity. The date for this special session will be Saturday, May 17th. I will be doing back to back 20 minute sessions on this day. Space will be limited to the first 10 families. Sessions will begin at 9:00 and I will schedule them every thirty minutes. Any combination of family goes. Whole families, Moms and children, Dads and children, even generation pictures. This is the perfect opportunity to get a jump start on Christmas gifts! Believe me, it will be here before you know it. I will use a simple black background and will focus mostly on faces and family interaction. Anything goes....

Here are 2 collages I made the other day. Baby brother was getting changed and Taylor and Brelyn decided to give me an impromptu dance recital. I LOVE these unplanned moments.

I get so excited when this family comes! Tanner was in perfect form today. Sisters, Taylor and Brelyn, are so proud of him. Here are a few sneak peaks......Amy
I know I've said it before, but I am SOOOOO lucky! I have been taking it easy for the past week. I had my surgery at the beginning of my Spring Break. My LASIK surgery went great! I am not blind, but can see even better than before. Thank you Dr Ken Toler at Jackson Eye Associates! They were just wonderful. If you or anyone you know are considering LASIK, I highly recommend JEA. They were fantastic! After a few days of recouping, I began playing in my yard and just having a relaxing time with my two girls. I did fit a few shoots in this week as well. And WOW! The kids just get cuter and cuter. I starting by saying "the cutest in Rankin County" but I looked and some are from as far away as Grenada and Cleveland! Thank you guys for making the trek down here and I hope to see you again really soon. Anyway, I'm back to work on Tuesday. If you are considering April for Spring Shoots, please begin calling as soon as possible, I'm already booking up....Amy
A Bit Of Housekeeping.
Okay, I have thought long and hard about this and I have come to the decision to make a few changes in policy and pricing structure. I have looked at several avenues and I truly want to keep my print prices affordable but still offer the best quality. I am always looking and researching things. I try to keep up with trends and I'm always looking out for new and fun things to do. In saying that, these are my new decisions.
I will no longer offer printed "proofs" from my photo sessions. Currently I do offer, for an additional $15, a set of 4x6 proofs with my logo on them. These just are not cost-effective for me. I will now offer a set of 4x6 prints that are fully edited for $85. These will be sold as a set ONLY and ONLY with an additonal order.
With that being said, Online Galleries will only be posted for 30 days. They will automatically be set to expire 30 days after activation. There is an additional $25 fee to have your gallery reposted. Please remember that I do offer a 10% discount on all orders within a week.
I'm also restructuring my Baby Plan. Those currently in my Baby Plan, things will not change for you. New plans booked from today on will be affected.
Also, I am setting up "business hours." With a busy, active family I have to begin establishing more ground rules as far as my family is concerned. The best way to reach me is through e-mail. I do have an answering machine as well. Please be patient in my getting back with you. I will be get back with you as soon as I am able.
I hope these things will make things go much smoother for my clients as well as for me. Anything to simplify the process...Thank You...Amy
Well I did have a busy day today. I got to see Anna Lauren first. It is her first birthday on the 20th and we did her "Big One." shoot today. I can't believe it's been a year already. Swayze came over next to see me. She won Little Miss Southwest and needed some modeling shots. She is such a sweetie.
Wow! What a day on Thursday! I had the pleasure of beginning a Baby Plan with my first set of identical twins. I've photographed 2 sets previously, but they were older and fraternal. I was so excited when Jamie called me. I have so many great ideas and I know that we'll have fun over the next year, capturing these little angels. Big brother Jack came for a visit too and he is just as adorable.
I had so much fun today! This little angel was a wonderful model. My favorite age to shoot is probably the sixth month stage. They are sitting up and very curious yet they can't crawl off! They pretty much stay where you put them! Ha! Today Ms Brinkley brought Mom and Dad and we had a great time. I love it when Daddies come. They just add a different element. At the end of our shoot, our little model got a bit tired but by adding Mom and Dad to the mix, I got some priceless shots. Mom asked for the feet picture and of course, Brinkley added her part by biting Daddy's toes! I couldn't have planned that! It was perfect.
